Polyester/rayon Yarn Sold Well on Seasonal Influence-Yarn Market Express (Sep 3, 2010)

With orders for autumn and winter textile products increasing, polyester/rayon yarn moves off well, with price firming a little. At present, market price of medium-to-long twisted polyester/rayon 65/35 yarn 50S/2 is at 26000yuan/mt while cationic dyeable polyester/rayon 65/35 yarn 50S/2 at 27000yuan/mt. Price of low/medium-count polyester/rayon yarn is also firm, with medium-to-long polyester/rayon 65/35 32S at 18500-19000yuan/mt. It is expected that demand will still amplify in the future. “Power-saving, production-cutback” policy forces down spinners and textile mills’ operating rate. Therefore, price of chemical fiber yarn shows an uptrend. For example, higher offer for polyester yarn 32S is already at 17500yuan/mt.
