Polyester Filament Yarn Market Express (Sep 3, 2010)

This morning, PFY market stayed stable in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, with changes in different brands. For instance, some plants raise POY offer by 50-100yuan/mt and revise FDY offer down by 100-200yuan/mt. DTY offer remains stable. PFY sales are moderate this morning but sales ratio of POY is high at 100-200%.

In Xiaoshan, one plant raises POY offer by 50-100yuan/mt while semi-dull 150/144, 100/36 and bright 150D/48 are offered at 11150yuan/mt, 11300yuan/mt and 10950yuan/mt, respectively. A few local plants revise FDY offer down by 100-200yuan/mt to 15800-16400yuan/mt, 14500-15000yuan/mt and 11250-11500yuan/mt for 50/24,68/24 and 150D, respectively.　

In Tongxiang,Taicang and Shengze, main PFY plants stabilize offer and discounts are available. A few plants raises DTY offer by 100-200yuan/mt. Local sales are modest.

In Fujian, main PFY plants remain offer and 100yuan/mt discounts are available POY offer. A few FDY plants revise higher offer down by 200yuan/mt while DTY market maintains stable. One key plant in Wuxi revises FDY offer down by 100-200yuan/mt to 14400yuan/mt, 13000yuan/mt and 11700yuan/mt for 75/36, 100/48 and 150/96, respectively. In Ningbo, some POY (10kg) offer is raised by 100yuan/mt due to power-ration and its inventory is low. 75/36(10kg) is offered at 11400yuan/mt.
