HS chips remained firm. Better-quality cargos were offered at 24300-24500yuan/mt and traded at 24200yuan/mt. Lower-quality goods were offered at 23800-24000yuan/mt and traded at 23500-23800yuan/mt respectively. Sellers’ ideal prices for imported cargos were pegged at $2850/mt. Under high cost pressure, producers were unwilling to sell at low prices.

In East China, CS chips were offered at 23500-24200yuan/mt. Bright staple fiber/monofilament chips were traded at 23500-23700yuan/mt and semi-dull monofilament chips at 24200yuan/mt. The mainstream offers in North and Mid China were at 23500yuan/mt and trading prices gradually followed up. Sales ratio in chip plants was balanced at around 100%.
