Textile and Clothing Products Achieve Substantial Growth in Retail Sale
It is learned from the National Bureau of Statistics, China’s total retail sales of social consumer goods registered 9.7492 trillion Yuan from January to August this year, up 18.2 percent year on year; the growth rate was flat compared with the previous month.
Looking at sub-product categories, textile and clothing products achieved substantial growth in retail.
Retail sales of garments and textile products (including shoes, hats, knitwear) realized 39.9 billion Yuan in August, up 22.1 percent year on year.
Retail sales of garments and textile products (including shoes, hats, knitwear) fetched 354 billion Yuan from January to August, up 23.7 percent year on year.
