MOI Plans Six New Stores Next Year

According to Maoye International, its MOI chain stores reached 30 in China mainland. To meet the quick development of retail business, MOI plans to invest one million yuan for the training of its senior managers to explore mainland market. An official of MOI said its 80,000-square-meters Shenyang store was to open this October, while 100,00-square-meters Wuxi store to open in Dec. MOI also plans to open at least six new stores next year, including its Taiyuan, Shenyang and Chengdu branches. By the end of next year, the total quantity of MOI department stores in mainland will be nearly 40.
