ICE Cotton Futures Stay Limit Up On The Day
Cotton futures on the ICE Futures U.S. exchange traded"limit up," or up 5 cents, at $1.5123 a pound early Tuesday, and stayed there. The move was spurred by the latest U.S. Department of Agriculture WorldAgricultural Supply and Demand Estimates, which estimated ending stocks in theU.S. at 2.2 million bales, the lowest since 1925. "Our stocks are too low,"said Sharon Johnson, analyst at First Capitol Group in Atlanta. And China, suffering from its own deficit, needs more to meet demand.
