China Acrylic Market Daily(11 Nov 2010)

China-made ACN: 17,400-18,200yuan/mt, ex-works
Spot ACN: 18,500-18,600yuan/mt, ex-tanks

Fushun PC raised ACN price to 18400yuan/mt today, which led to thickening bullish sentiment at the ports of East China. Mainstream done level was at 18500yuan/mt ex-tanks. However, transactions were limited as spot supply was few. Some suppliers in Shandong/Jiangsu /Zhejiang suspended offers, waiting for better prices.

Cotton type ASF 1.5D: 24,500-25,200yuan/mt
ASF 3D: 24,150-24,650yuan/mt
Acrylic tow 3D: 24,650-25,100yuan/mt
Acrylic top 3D: 25,550-26,000yuan/mt by cash, ex-East China

Acrylic yarn production kept normal after the sharp rise in acrylic fiber price. Acrylic yarn plants mostly raise offers. Cotton type acrylic yarn has reached 33000-34000yuan/mt. Suppliers were reluctant to sell even at such prices. Plants kept O/R high as inventory level was low.　

In acrylic fiber market, downstream purchasing sentiment remained active but spot materials were quite tight.
