ICE Cotton Futures Drop Sharply
Cotton futures plunged by the exchange-allowed maximum, reversingan equally dramatic increase the day before. Concerns about China's efforts tohold down price inflation are scaring investors out of the market, leaving athinner, and more volatile market. The Dec contract settled down 6 cents, or4.5%, at $1.2790 a pound.
