Added value of textile sector grows 11.5 percent year on year
The latest data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show that in October added value of national scale industries increased by 13.1 percent year on year, more than 3 percentage points lower from a year earlier, and 0.2 percentage points lower than the previous month.
From January to October, added value of above-scale industries gained by 16.1 percent over the same period of last year, 6.7 percentage points higher year on year, but 0.2 percentage points lower than the first three quarters.
In October of this year, added value of textile sector grew by 11.5 percent year on year, down 0.6 percentage points from the previous month; export delivery value increased by 16.2 percent year on year, 0.9 percentage points higher than the previous month; among main products, production of yarn, cloth, clothing increased by 10.5 percent, 23.3 percent and 17.7 percent, respectively, year on year, chemical fiber output increased by 13.9 percent year on year.
From January to October, added value of textile sector grew by 12.4 percent year on year, 3.6 percentage points higher than the same period last year; export delivery value gained 16.4 percent over the same period last year, and 10.1 percent higher than the same period 2008. Production of yarn, cloth, clothing increased by 15.5 percent, 18.2 percent and 18.7 percent, respectively, year on year, chemical fiber output increased by 14.1 percent year on year.
