China Textile City Trading Express(8 Dec 2010)
In China Textile City, the trading volume of fabrics decreases to 5.89mln meters (chemical fiber fabrics 4.82mln meters and cotton fabrics 1.07mln meters). 100% cotton fabric, T/C fabric, T/R wool-like fabric and rayon fabric turnover are 0.34, 0.15, 0.43 and 0.02mln meters.
The overall operating rate of fabric plants keeps weak with limited orders and and some plants reduce production. Today, the sales of knitting fabric for leisure clothes are favorable and the volume of sales to Guangdong increases. The sales of wide fabric for bed slow down with lackluster orders. The prices of C40S×40S 133×72 98" dyed fabric produced in Shandong decline to 20yuan/m.
