China Acrylic Market Daily(14 Dec 2010)

China-made ACN: 18,700-19,400yuan/mt, ex-works
Spot ACN: 19,400-19,600yuan/mt, ex-tanks

ACN spot market continued to firm high with mainstream done level at 19500yuan/mt, ex-tanks. Some deep-sea cargoes arrived at the port last weekend, but the cargoes have not been unloaded due to weather factor. Spot supply remained tight.　

In Shandong, the market remained weak, with trading level at 19500-19600yuan/mt, ex-works. In Jiangsu/Zhejiang, the market was better than that in Shandong, with prevailing prices at 19600-19700yuan/mt.

Cotton type ASF 1.5D: 24,500-25,200yuan/mt
ASF 3D: 24,150-24,650yuan/mt
Acrylic tow 3D: 24,650-25,100yuan/mt
Acrylic top 3D: 25,550-26,000yuan/mt by cash, ex-East China

Domestic acrylic fiber market was still weak. Offers were stable and transactions moderate.

Prevailing prices were 24850-25100yuan/mt for acrylic tow 3D and 25700-26000yuan/mt for acrylic top 3D. Acrylic top producers in South Jiangsu face difficulty in sales.

Acrylic yarn plants kept stable running rates. Sales were sluggish. Some small plants kept high O/R as major plants have transfered orders to them.
