CNCotton A is 28,481, up 12 and CNCotton B is 27,738, up 11.
ZCE cotton CF101 is 28,450, up 215
CNCE MA1101 is 27,511, down 7.
Import prices fell again today. Demand is slowly increasing before holidays but offtake remain very light.
CNCotton A and B moved further higher. Offtake of inland crop is small and prices are steady. Xinjiang cotton which was offered higher recently has declined. This is due to sluggish textile sales and mills are generally declining expensive Xinjiang cotton. Imported styles are becoming competitive.
ZCE cotton futures moved steadily higher, but volume and open interest dropped. The 2011 import quota has reached mills and government will consider additional import quota in the new year based on price movement.
