Viscose staple fiber
Some VSF plants kept revising up offers today as Gaomi Silver Hawk quoted VSF 1.5D and 1.2D up by 200yuan/mt to 25600yuan/mt and 25800yuan/mt, respectively. Medium-grade VSF 1.5D was mainly picked up by 200yuan/mt to 25400yuan/mt but downstream plants generally held a wait-and-see stance. Now buyers could hardly acquire goods at 25000yuan/mt and suppliers preferred to selling goods at 25200yuan/mt. The trading sentiment was modest.
Viscose filament yarn
VFY prices did not change much. Traders purchased cautiously due to current high rates and the upcoming Lunar New Year. Downstream plants generally adopted a hand-to-mouth strategy.
