Upswing Continues - Nylon Market Summary (Jan 28-Feb 15, 2011)
CPL spot price continued to hike after Chinese Lunar New Year holiday. Due to higher cost, nylon 6 chip and textile filament producers also had to lift prices actively.
As to plant operations, domestic CPL producers were running normally while nylon 6 textile filament producers gradually recovered production from the holiday. Downstream weavers still haven’t fully recovered production.
