Further Adjustment - Nylon Market Summary (Mar 1-15, 2011)
After the purchases in end Feb and early Mar, CPL spot market tended stable and then adjusted downward slightly as PTA/cotton futures in Zhengzhou constantly dropped. Based on high cost, nylon 6 chip price held steady and textile filament prices were firm.
As to plant operations, domestic CPL producers were running steadily at high operating rate. Nylon 6 textile filament producers increased production slightly.
