PET fiber chip market remained flat on Monday. Transactions were moderate. Trading prices of SD chips were in the range of 13700-13800yuan/mt 90 days payment according to qualities. Several medium volume deals of fine-quality PET SD chips were closed at 13800yuan/mt 90 days payment. Bright chips were talked at 13300-13600yuan/mt by cash or acceptance. Trades were few. CDP chip were talked at 14450-14700yuan/mt 180 days payment, delivered.
Hengyi PC nominated April PET fiber chip contract prices: SD chip, bright chip, industrial yarn grade chip and film grade chip all at 14200yuan/mt. Rongsheng PC nominated April SD chip contract at 14200yuan/mt.
Feedstock weakens slightly today while PFY sales improve somewhat. PET fiber chip market may keep consolidating in the short term.
