China-made ACN: 20000-21000yuan/mt, ex-works

ACN spot market remained sluggish on Tuesday. At the port, mainstream trading level was around 21200yuan/mt. Trading sentiment was plain. Transactions were slow and mainly small volume deals. Prices at the port were constrained by stable supply of northern plants as well as low-priced ship cargoes presold. The market in Jiangsu and Zhejiang has sunk into looking-on mood.

Due to turnaround and technical bug, spot supply became quite tight in USD ACN market, especially offshore cargoes. Deep-sea cargoes were offered at $2850-2900/mt. As domestic market was dull, traders and plants were very cautious in purchasing. Bids were around $2700/mt.

Cotton type ASF 1.5D: 25300-26000yuan/mt
ASF 3D: 25300-25500yuan/mt
Acrylic tow 3D: 25600-26000yuan/mt
Acrylic top 3D: 26400-27000yuan/mt by cash, ex-East China

Acrylic fiber market became plainer than before. Transactions of dry-spun acrylic softened as well, trading prices have dropped to the quoted rates.

In import market, trade of acrylic flat staple fiber kept good but supply was relatively tight. Transactions of anti-pilling acrylic were moderate, with Japan-origin cargoes offered at $4150-4300/mt, Taiwan-origin and Thai Acrylic offering at $3650-3800/mt. In RMB term, anti-pilling acrylic 1.5D was offered at 32000-35000yuan/mt.
