Textile in Hunan grew fast in H1

In the first half of this year, textile industry of Hunan posted a fast growth. According to incomplete statistics, the first half of 2011, the 458 statistics-worthy enterprises in the whole province achieved output value of industry 36.9 billion yuan, 34.8 percent growth Y/Y; achieved sales value 36.0 billion yuan, 35 percent growth Y/Y, achieved main business income 36.0 billion yuan, 37.2 percent; achieved contribution margin 0.238 billion yuan, 82.9 percent growth Y/Y; achieved profit 1.075 billion yuan, 70.3 percent growth Y/Y; achieved export value of textile and apparel 0.312 billion USD, 24 percent growth Y/Y; achieved investment in fixed assets 0.48 billion yuan with 178 new projects, 34.6 percent growth Y/Y.
