Three-in-one textile exhibitions to start on Aug 29
China International Trade Fair for Fibers and Yarns opens next week on 29 August 2011 for three days at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Held concurrently with China International Trade Fair for Home Textiles and Accessories and the China International Knitting Trade Fair, gives attendees the ultimate one-stop business platform for all of their sourcing needs.
Home Textiles Fair
With a 10% increase in scale, Shanghai Home Textiles 2011 will occupy 11 halls in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The event held from 29 – 31 August 2011 is the largest up to date. Suppliers exhibiting across the international halls include country and regional pavilions from Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan and Turkey, as well as new country pavilions from Greece, Italy and Spain. Exhibitors of bedding, curtain and upholstery fabrics will group into special product zones.
Meanwhile, some 900 suppliers from China offer competitively priced products and are organized into product end use including bedding products (W1,W2,W3,W4), decorating cloth (E1,E2,E3,E4,E5,E6), towel (W3), quilt (W4), sun shielding (E7), wallpaper (E7), non-material cultural heritage products (W4), overseas assembled cloth (W4), designers salon (W1) and new materials (W5) and etc.

Attending buyers include top home furnishing brand Laura Ashley from the UK; retailer Sears Holdings from the USA; BALS Corporation, which is the sourcing agent for lifestyle product chain store Franc from Japan; Nibico International Corporation from Taiwan and Togas from Russia. Influential trade associations such as Sistema Moda Italia, Home Fashion Products Association from the USA; Malaysian Textile Manufacturer's Association and Taiwan Weaving Industrial Association will also organize delegations to visit the fair.
The support of international buyers’ attendance proves that the fair truly is a major home textile sourcing destination in Asia. Knitting Trade Fair
China International Knitting Trade Fair opens next week on 29 August 2011 for three days at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. It will occupy one hall. Lingerie/Underwear,Brassiere,Wool/Cashmere Sweater, Knitted Sportswear/Casual wear/T Shirt,Corsetry/Fitness wear,Homewear /Sleepwear,Swimwear/ Beachwear,Hosiery,knitted Fabrics and Knitted Accessories will be exhibited. THREE GUN, Tongniu, AB, JEANSWEST, Gaiqi and other 190 suppliers are confirmed to showcase their collections.
Taiwan pavilion at the show, will return this year with a 17 exhibitors. Organizers are confident that the suppliers exhibiting under the Taiwan pavilion will stand out at the fair. The exhibitors from Taiwan will feature high quality knitted fabrics and garments. Textiles clusters from China offer competitively priced products and are organized into product end use including knitting fabrics (Guli, Haining, Meili and Changle); socks (Zhuji and Liaoyuan) and warp knitting (Haining, Meili and Changle). Besides, China Hemp Alliance will join the exhibition to push for a great presentation.
Yarn Expo
Yarn Expo Autumn running this month, from 29 – 31 August 2009, is a platform dedicated to delivering innovative yarns & fibres - bringing together the greatest quantity & quality of professional buyers & suppliers to the upstream yarns & fibres market in China.
With an exhibition space of 3000 sqm, the fair has attracted over 60 exhibitors from 7 countries including China Mainland, Hongkong, Pakistan, Singapore Vietnam and Thailand. Among the products on display are: High-end fibres such as high count from China Resources, compact combed cotton yarns and twisted yarns; Color dyed yarns inclusive of chemical fibres from Jiangsu Jinfang, viscose fiber from Fulida.
