Sep 21st, 2011 Daily Review on Polyester Prices
PTA: Today the PTA overseas market is steady, the suppliers quoted Taiwan cargo for about 1,320-1,330 USD/Ton, The quotation of Korea goods is 1,315-1,320 USD/Ton.
The PTA price is also steady in domestic market, and the suppliers quoted for about 10,300-10,400 Yuan/Ton.
MEG: MEG market is consolidated slightly; the domestic suppliers quoted about 10,100 Yuan/Ton and the quotation in overseas market is about 1,295-1,300 USD/Ton.
PET Bottle Chips: Today the price of polyester bottle chips is firm in domestic market, the domestic main bottle chips factories quoted for about 13,600-13,700 Yuan/Ton.
The price in the overseas market is weak, and the quotation is about 1,710-1,730 USD/Ton FOB CMP. The market atmosphere is light and the practical negotiation is rare.
PSF: Today the PSF price increased in eastern China and the price of direct spinning PSF 1.4D*38mm is mainly 13,900-14,000 Yuan/Ton.
PFY: Today the price of polyester yarns is steady in eastern China; now a local main factory quoted FDY50D/24F for about 18,200 Yuan/Ton. Another main factory quoted FDY50D/48F for 18,000 Yuan/Ton.
