Sep 23rd, 2011 Daily Review on Polyester Prices
PTA: Today the PTA overseas market dropped slightly, the suppliers quoted Taiwan cargo for about 1,310-1,315 USD/Ton, The quotation of Korea goods is 1,300 USD/Ton.
The PTA price is also dropped in domestic market, and the suppliers quoted for about 10,200 Yuan/Ton.
MEG: Influenced by the dramatic drop futures price, the MEG market is weak today; the domestic suppliers quoted for about 10,150 Yuan/Ton and the quotation in overseas market is about 1,300 USD/Ton.
PET Chips: Today the semi-dull polyester chips market is weak and the main quotation is 13,100 Yuan/Ton. The bright polyester chips market is consolidated and the quotation is about 13,100 Yuan/Ton.
PET Bottle Chips: Today the price of polyester bottle chips is steady in domestic market, the main bottle chips negotiating price is about 13,400 Yuan/Ton.
PSF: The PSF price dropped in eastern China and the price of direct spinning PSF 1.4D*38mm is mainly 13,800-13,900 Yuan/Ton.
PFY: Today the price of polyester yarns dropped in eastern China; now a local main factory quoted bright FDY50D/36F for about 17,300 Yuan/Ton. Another main factory quoted FDY50D/48F for 17,900 Yuan/Ton.
