Sep 27th, 2011 Daily Review on Polyester Prices
PTA: Today the PTA price dropped in overseas market continuously, the suppliers quoted Taiwan cargo for about 1,250 USD/Ton, The quotation of Korea goods is 1,230-1,235 USD/Ton.
The PTA price is also dropped in domestic market, and the suppliers quoted for about 9,800 Yuan/Ton.
MEG: The MEG market is consolidated, the domestic suppliers quoted for about 9,700-9,800 Yuan/Ton and the quotation in overseas market is about 1,250-1,255 USD/Ton.
PET Bottle Chips: The price of polyester bottle chips dropped in domestic market, the quotation of domestic main bottle chips factories is about 13,400-13,600 Yuan/Ton.
The overseas market is also weak, and the quotation is about 1,700 USD/Ton FOB CMP. The market atmosphere is sluggish and the practical negotiation is limited.
PSF: The PSF price still dropped in eastern China and the price of direct spinning PSF 1.4D*38mm is mainly 13,600-13,700 Yuan/Ton.
PFY: The price of polyester yarns is steady in eastern China; now a local main factory quoted FDY50D/24F for about 17,300 Yuan/Ton. Another main factory quoted FDY40D/48F for 22,300 Yuan/Ton.
