Oct 18th, 2011 Daily Review on Polyester Prices
PTA: Today the PTA price is steady in overseas market, the suppliers quoted Taiwan cargo for about 1,230-1,240 USD/Ton, The quotation of Korea goods is 1,220 USD/Ton.
The PTA price is also steady in domestic market, and the suppliers quoted for about 9,500-9,600 Yuan/Ton.
MEG: The MEG market is consolidated slightly, the domestic suppliers quoted for about 9,450 Yuan/Ton and the quotation in overseas market is about 1,240-1,250 USD/Ton.
PET Bottle Chips: The price of polyester bottle chips is steady in domestic market; the quotation of domestic main bottle chips factories is around 12,600-12,700 Yuan/Ton.
The overseas market is weak, and the quotation is about 1,630-1,650 USD/Ton FOB CMP. The market atmosphere is light and the practical negotiation is normal.
PSF: The PSF price dropped in eastern China and the price of direct spinning PSF 1.4D*38mm is mainly 12,900-13,000 Yuan/Ton.
PFY: The price of polyester yarns is steady in eastern China; now a local main factory quoted DTY75D/72F for about 18,800 Yuan/Ton. Another main factory quoted FDY50D/24F for 16,400 Yuan/Ton.
