Oct 25th, 2011 Daily Review on Polyester Prices

 PTA: Today the PTA price increased in overseas market, the Taiwan cargo market quotation is about 1,140-1,145 USD/Ton, The quotation of Korea goods is 1,120 USD/Ton. 

The PTA quotation increased slightly in domestic market, and the suppliers quoted for about 8,900-9,000 Yuan/Ton. The downstream purchasing atmosphere is light. 

MEG: The MEG market tended to be good influenced by some favorable news, the domestic suppliers quoted for about 8,900-9,000 Yuan/Ton and the quotation in overseas market is about 1,140-1,150 USD/Ton.  

PET Bottle Chips: The polyester bottle chips quotation is steady in domestic market; the domestic main bottle chips factories quoted around 12,000-12,300 Yuan/Ton.

The overseas market is also steady, and the quotation is about 1,600-1,620 USD/Ton FOB CMP. 

PSF: The PSF price finished downward trend and tended to be steady in eastern China and the quotation of direct spinning PSF 1.4D*38mm is mainly 12,400-12,500 Yuan/Ton.

PFY: The quotation of polyester yarns is steady in eastern China; now a local main factory quoted FDY50D/48F for about 16,300 Yuan/Ton. Another main factory quoted FDY50D/24F for 16,700 Yuan/Ton.
