Jiangxi: Textile Industry Income Break Through 100 Billion Yuan in 2011

As the first year of twelfth-five-year-plan, textile industry make a big progress in Jiangxi Province in 2011. By the end of Nov., the statistics-worthy textile enterprises(whose annul sales income exceeding 20 million yuan) reported main business income 102 billion yuan. This was one month earlier to accomplish the goal for the whole year as 100 billion yuan. Besides, the industrial added value rose 46.7% from a year ago, profit up by 72.3% and export up by 45.9%.

Jiangxi grasped the opportunity of “textile industry shifting from the East to the Mid & West”, and quickened the investment. In the first ten months, the investment in textile industry reached 35.9 billion yuan in Jiangxi, rising 34.7% from a year ago.
