Daily Review on Polyester Prices (9th Jan)

VSF: Last week, VSF market price increased slightly. At the beginning of last week, downstream buy in actively, VSF stock reduced notably. Currently, stock amount is at a low level. Suppliers are reluctant to sell the goods, and some suppliers even slightly increased its price. The actual strike price is around 16000CNY/t.
MEG：Today, Jiangsu MEG Price offered around 8550CNY/t, the counter offer is around 8480-8500CNY/t and the negotiate price is estimated around 8500CNY/t.
PTA：Today PTA quotation in China market is stable, with suppliers offered 8850CNY/t, the counter offer is around 8750-8800CNY/t, and the actual negotiate price is around 8800CNY/t.
PET Bottle Chips: PET bottle chips domestic offer is stable. Major suppliers offered cash take price around 11500-11600CNY/t, downstream counter offer is around 11400CNY/t, and the actual trade price is around 11400-11500CNY/t.
PFY: Shengze polyester yarn offer sporadically increased, a local major direct spinning plant up regulated DTY price by 100CNY, with others’ price keeps unchanged. Now FDY50D/24F is offered 14900CNY, DTY150D/144F six-month acceptance is offered 14800CNY/t. Another melt spinning plant offer is unchanged, with FDY 50D/24F acceptance offered 16100CNY/t, semi-bright FDY50D/72F offered 15400CNY/t, FDY75D/144F offered 14400CNY/t. |
