Bottle Flakes & Recycled Fiber Market Summary (Jan 16-31, 2012)
In mid-late Jan, most recycled bottle flake suppliers shut units amid approaching Spring Festivals. After holidays, Re-PSF plants have not resumed production generally and recycled bottle flake trading volume was slim. The price basically stayed at the previous level.
In end-Jan, only a few re-PSF plants have started units. Offers were stable generally after holidays while some cotton type re-PSF plants revised offers up slightly amid upward PSF/PFY. But the trading volumes were low temporally.
