Feb 16th Daily Review on Polyester Prices
PSF: Today the leading quotation of PSF (polyester staple fiber) is rebounded slightly in South China. At present, 1.4D*38mm direct spinning PSF is quoted 12, 350-12,450 Yuan/ton.
MEG: Today the leading quotation of MEG is about 8,250 Yuan/ton or below in China-Jiangsu, the buying offer is about 8,150-8,200 Yuan/ton, and the negotiating price is around 8,200-8,230 Yuan/ton.
CPL: Today RMB spot market of CPL is soft in China. Now the supplier quotes around 24,000-24,200 Yuan/ton, the downstream bidding price is about 23,800 Yuan/ton and the actual negotiated price is around 23,800-24,000 Yuan/ton.
Cotton: Today the price of short staple cotton is 5,100-5,150 Yuan/ton, and long staple cotton is 4,700-4,750 Yuan/ton, and the inventory is limited.
PET Bottle Chips: Today PET bottle chips price is stable in China, which the domestic leading bottle manufacturer quotes 12,000-12,100 Yuan/ton, the downstream bidding price is around 11,900 Yuan/ton, and the actual negotiated price is near by 11,950-12,000 Yuan/ton. Now the trading atmosphere is soft, and the actual transaction is scarce.
