Feb 21st Daily Review on Polyester Prices

The PTA price was stable in domestic market. Suppliers quoted the goods at 9,000-9,050 Yuan/ton and the downstream bidding price was around 8,950 Yuan/ton. In the market, the discussions were around 8,950-9,000 Yuan/ton. The trading atmosphere was mild and there was little negotiation.
 
Today, PSF market continued to be weak and declining. Leading quotations in the market slightly decreased. At present, in East China, 1.4D*38mm direct spinning PSF was quoted at 12,050-12,150 Yuan/ton.
 
Today, polyester bottle chips price slightly decreased in China. Leading manufacturers adjusted their quotations. Now the price was around 11,900-12,100 Yuan/ton and the downstream bidding price was around 11,850 Yuan/ton. The practical discussions were around 11,850-11,900 Yuan/ton. The trading atmosphere was mild.
 
The polyester yarn prices were unchanged. Now a local melt spinning factory quoted bright FDY 50D/36F at 16,200 Yuan/ton and semi-dull FDY 50D/24F at 15,100 Yuan/ton. Another direct spinning factory quoted FDY 50D/24F at 15,500 Yuan/ton and DTY 150D/144F at 15100 Yuan/ton with 6-month acceptance.
