Feb 24th Daily Review on Polyester Prices
Today, the prices of polyester bottle chips keep steady in China. Leading manufacturers quoted the goods at 11900-12000 Yuan/ton by cash and the downstream bidding prices were around 11700 Yuan/ton. The practical discussions were around 11700-11800 Yuan/ton by cash and without delivery. The market is mild and has few trades.
Today, the quotation of MEG was increased to 8250 Yuan/ton in Jiangsu, China. However, the downstream market was inactive. The inquiry was around 8150-8200 Yuan/ton and the discussions were predicted around 8200 Yuan/ton.
Today, the price of PTA turned steady in China. Suppliers quoted the goods at 8950-9000 Yuan/ton and the downstream bidding price was around 8900 Yuan/ton. The practical discussions were around 8900-8950 Yuan/ton. The market was calm and lack of negotiation.
Today, the PSF marker showed downtrend and followed the weak tendency. The leading quotations on market dropped. At present, in East China, 1.4D*38mm direct spinning PSF is downgraded to 11850-11950 Yuan/ton among the leading manufacturers.
