Feb 29th Daily Review on Polyester Prices
PTA: Today PTA price keeps stable in China, now the supplier quotes the goods at 9,000-9,050 Yuan/ton, the downstream bidding price is about 8,950 Yuan/ton, and the negotiating price is about 8,950-9,000 Yuan/ton.
MEG: Today the leading quotation of MEG is about 8,200 Yuan/ton in China-Jiangsu market, the buying offer is about 8,150 Yuan/ton, and the negotiating price is around 8,180-8,200 Yuan/ton.
VSF: Due to the general trading atmosphere, today the price of viscose staple fiber declines 100 Yuan in China, and now the leading quotation of VSF is around 17,300-17,400 Yuan/ton.
PFY: Today the price of polyester yarn is stable in China-Shaoxing market, now cash quotation of FDY55D/72F is 13,710 Yuan/ton, and FDY150D/96F is about 12,460 Yuan/ton. There is still negotiating space.
PSF: Today the price of polyester staple fiber continues downward trends in East China. Now 1.4D*38mm direct spinning PSF quotes about 11, 550-11,650 Yuan/ton.
PET Bottle Chips: Today the prices of polyester bottle chips increases slightly in China. Now leading manufacturers quotes the goods at 12,000 Yuan/ton, the downstream bidding price is around 11,750 Yuan/ton, and the actual negotiating price is about 11,850-11,950 Yuan/ton. The trading atmosphere is general.
