Emerging markets become main force of medical dressing exports from China (China)
China’s exports of medical dressings to the EU and North American markets increased slightly by 1.84 percent and 1.47 percent, respectively, in the first quarter this year, cumulative proportion of the two major markets reached 65.87 percent of China’s total exports, according to customs statistics.
With active promotion of market diversification strategy, trade between China and emerging market countries grows faster, China’s exports to emerging markets of the Middle East and Latin America grew 57.76 percent and 28.52 percent, respectively, in the first quarter this year.
The United States, Japan, Germany are still big markets for Chinas’ exports of medical dressings, China’s exports to the three major export markets accounted for 48.68 percent of total exports in the first quarter, slightly lower compared with the same period in 2011 (50.36 percent).
Among top ten country markets, China's exports to Japan, Germany, Australia and South Korea experienced negative growth.
