China Apparel Retail Sales Value +11.99% y/y in May 2012 (China)
China May 2012 – Apparel retail sales value in major department stores just rising by 11.99 percent y/y , according to Nation Commercial Information Center of China. Apparel retail sales value growth speed slowed down by 9.9% compared with the same period in last year and down by 6.46% compared with April. For volume, retail sales volume of apparel products down by 0.52% compared with the same period in last year.
Down jackets
The top ten down jackets brands accounted for 52.57 percent of the total market in May 2012. Market concentration at a relatively low level, competition has become more fierce between the brands. Top four brands were Bosideng YaYa Snowfly and YaLu. Their comprehensive market share were more than 5%. The pattern was relatively stable. The comprehensive market share of the rest brands were less than 4%. The competition was fierce.
