August 1st Daily Review on Polyester Prices (China)

Today, the polyester yarn price continued to increase in Shengze. A local direct spinning manufacturer increased the products by 100-200 Yuan/ton. Now FDY 50D/24F, FDY 50D/48F, and DTY 150D/144F are quoted at 13,400 Yuan/ton, 13,400 Yuan/ton and 12,700 Yuan/ton separately.

PTA price unchanged in the domestic market. The leading suppliers quoted the goods at 7,700-7,750 Yuan/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 7,650 Yuan/ton. The discussions stay at 7,650-7,700 Yuan/ton temporarily.

PTA price keeps steady in the overseas market. The Taiwan goods are quoted at 1,010-1,015 dollars/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 1,000 dollars/ton. The discussions are around 1,000-1,005 dollars/ton. The quotation of Korean goods is at 1,000-1,005 dollars/ton. The bidding price is around 995 dollars/ton. The practical discussions are around 1,000 dollars/ton.
