Aug 2nd Daily Review on Polyester Prices (China)

VSF:Today the price of viscose staple fiber is in a consolidation in China. Now the quotation of the medium-end product is around 15,400-15,700 Yuan/ton, while the high-end one is about 15,700 Yuan/ton. The transactions are general and the downstream manufacturers buy the goods as required.

VFY:Today the price of viscose filament yarn is weak in China. Now the negotiating price of 120D is around 40,000-45,000 Yuan/ton. The market demand doesn’t get better.

Cotton Pulp:Today the price of cotton pulp keeps firm in China. Now the quotation of short pulp is around 7,700-7,800 Yuan/ton, the transaction centre increases compared with the early days.

PFY:Today the price of polyester filament yarn follows the stable tendency in China-Shaoxing. Now the cash quotation of FDY75D/36F is 11,910 Yuan/ton, FDY100D is 11,310 Yuan/ton, FDY150D/96F is 10,900 Yuan/ton and the bright FDY75D is 11,700 Yuan/ton. The production and marketing reduced to 70% yesterday.
