Aug 10th Daily Review on Polyester Prices (China)

POY: Today POY price continues to increase in a local leading manufacturer of Xiao Shan, China. Some specifications of POY products have risen by 50-200 Yuan/ton. Now POY160D/48F is quoted at 11,400 Yuan/ton and POY100D/96F rises to 11,550 Yuan/ton.

PSF: Today the price of polyester staple fiber is still dominated by smooth running in East China. The leading quotation of main manufacturers also follows stable trends in the market. At present, the leading quotation of 1.4D direct spinning PSF focuses on 10,800-10,900 Yuan/ton.

CPL: Today RMB spot market of CPL is mild in China. Now the supplier quotes the goods for 18,400-18,500 Yuan/ton, the bidding price of downstream manufacturer is around 18,200 Yuan/ton and the practical discussion is near by 18,300-18,400 Yuan/ton. The trading atmosphere is cold and with little negotiations.

MEG: Today MEG price continues to be increased in domestic market. Now the leading quotation of MEG is about 8,000 Yuan/ton or below, the counter offer is around 7,900 Yuan/ton and the negotiating price is near by 7,950 Yuan/ton or below.
