Aug 28th Daily Review on Polyester Prices (China)

VSF:Today the price of viscose staple fiber is stable in China. Now the leading quotation of it is around 15,800-16,300 Yuan/ton. Now the shipment of high-end product is good and some traders who sell medium-end products undersell. The whole purchase is stable in the market.

VFY:Today the price of viscose filament yarn is stable in China. Now the negotiating price of 120D is around 40,500-45,000 Yuan/ton. The inventory of the manufacturer increase slightly and the cost pressure is greater.

Cotton Pulp:Today the price of cotton pulp is in a stalemate in China. Now the quotation of short pulp is around 7,800-8,000 Yuan/ton. The shipment intention increases compared with the early days, but the downstream acceptance is general and the shipment is sluggish in the market.

PFY:Today the price of polyester filament yarn keeps stable in China-Tongxiang. Now the quotation of DTY and POY 150D/144F is 13,200 Yuan/ton and 11,800 Yuan/ton; DTY and POY150D/48F is 12,900 Yuan/ton and 11,500 Yuan/ton respectively. But the manufacturers cut the margin of preference during the close of deals.
