Industrial Value Added of Textile Industry Up 11.8% in July (China)

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the industrial value added of above-scale textile enterprises (with annual sales revenue more than CNY 20 million) increased by 9.2% (in real terms after adjusting for price fluctuation) in July, showing a decline by 0.3 percentage points compared to June. On month-on-month basis, the industrial value added rose 0.66% compared to June. In January-July period, the industrial value added grew 10.3% year-on-year.

By industries, in July, 40 out of 41 major industries maintained an increasing industrial value added. The industrial value added of the textile industry rose 11.8% in July and the figure in January-July period rose 12.9% year-on-year.
