Asian PX, PTA & PSF prices decline, ethylene steady (Asia)

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in the Asian market. In S E Asian region, PX prices declined in the range of US$ 1515/ton to US$ 1520/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1500/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market plunged down and was quoted in the range of US$ 1565/ton to US$ 1570/ton.

PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices plunged down in the range of US$ 1095ton to US$ 1100/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1090/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market went down in the range of US$ 1115/ton to US$ 1120/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices dropped down in the range of RMB 8300/ton to RMB 8350/ton.

Ethylene prices kept steady in Asian market. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable in the range of US$ 1300/ton to US$ 1305/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1290/ton.

In the U.S market, Ethylene prices stayed unchanged in the range of 57.00 cents/pound to 57.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were steady in European international market and declined in domestic market and were quoted at US$ 1400/ton and?190/ton, respectively.

MEG prices declined in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, MEG prices went down and were assessed at US$ 1115/ton. In China import market, MEG prices were steady in the range of US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1125/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices dropped down in the range of RMB 8350/ton to RMB 8400/ton.

In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices went down to RMB 10650/ton.

In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices stayed unchanged in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices went down and were quoted in the range of RMB 10425/ton to RMB 10450/ton.

PSF prices went down in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF was offered at US$ 1520/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were quoted at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed stable in the range of RMB 11225/ton to RMB 11275/ton.

In Chinese domestic market, Polyester DTY and FDY prices were stable and were offered at RMB 12700/ton and RMB 11450/ton, respectively while POY prices declined to RMB 11450/ton.

In export market, offers for DTY and FDY were unchanged and were offered at US$ 1710/ton and US$ 1535/ton, respectively while POY price plunged down to US$ 1545/ton.
