Fenfei Zeng bags China fashion design 'golden award'
The eye-catching 16th China fashion design “golden award” goes to the chief director of Zengfengfei brand, Fengfei Zeng. Yutao Wang and Wei Liu win the prize of China fashion award 2012 the best men’s wear designer and the best women’s wear designer. In the ceremony, the WHITE COLLAR•2013 S\S haute couture collection, which themed as "rosa" ,has brought a fantastic sensory feast to the audience. A slight of fragrance, the dreamlike stage and the gorgeous candy color women's wear has presented a graceful image of 1950s. The simple style, spacious feeling and the utilization of hollow-out texture and large scale printing flower and jacquard fabrics expressed the romantic charisma of women who are as beautiful as butterflies.
During the fashion week, 44 fashion shows, 5 design final contests and professional activities such as fashion forums, special lectures, press conferences and award ceremonies, 50 fashion brands and agencies, 51 designers and more than 150 young design stars has taken part in 2012 China fashion week. The number of young designers has increased which annotated that stylish brand oriented by design has rose rapidly. The team of designers and brands has grown and expanded continuously, which has brought vitality to the traditional industry. More than 500 fashion models has participated in the release show and at least 600 reporters has covered the 2012 China fashion week.
Since its first launch in 1997, China fashion week is held in March and October which are spring\summer and fall\winter every year in Beijing. Up to now, more than 320 designers and at least 350 fashion brands from 10 countries such as China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, France, Italy, America, Russia, Great Britain, Switzerland, Netherlands, and etc, hosted 724 special fashion shows.
Having gone through fifty years development and improvement, China fashion week has become a professional release platform for new products, new design and new technology such as domestic top fashion, ready-to-wear, accessories, bags and suitcases, Makeup & Styling and etc. and also, it has become an internationalized service platform for famous brands and designers to promote images, present ideas and spread trend.
