Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles to begin from Mar 5
This year exhibitors from Austria, China, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan and the UK will showcase their finest bedding products, curtains, decorative fabrics and more across 37,000 sqm of exhibition space. A first-time exhibitor from the UK, Bronte, will bring their famous British-made woollen fabric to the show. Lenzing from Austria, which is the leading cellulose fibre supplier in home and apparel textile markets, is returning as an exhibitor again. Two of the most dominant bedding supplies in Pakistan, Feroze 1888 Mills Limited and Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Ltd, will also join the fair among others.
On the other hand, domestic suppliers from home textile manufacturing bases, including Haining, Yuhang, Shaoxing and Tongxiang join this fair in special pavilions. Together, they will offer a wide range of product types and all-inclusive sourcing services. Participants benefit from China’s spring sourcing season
In the past two years, the Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition has provided an interactive trading platform for both suppliers and buyers in the key sourcing season in China. It has also become the best way to look for business opportunities in the massive domestic Chinese market.
Ms Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. foresees a favourable outlook for home textiles and furnishings in 2013: “Despite the challenging economic times of 2012, the home textile industry in China is growing due to the strong performance of the domestic housing market, and we are optimistic about the outlook for the coming year.”
Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT and the China Home Textile Association (CHTA).
